What is Rummy?

Rummy is a card game comprising two decks of cards and two jokers. The players are tasked with grouping the cards into valid sequences and sets. The main objective of the game is to achieve valid sequences and sets by arranging 13 cards. Out of the sequences, it is essential to create at least one pure sequence for a valid Rummy declaration. A sequence can be formed by arranging three or more consecutive cards from the same suit. Players can make pure sequences and impure sequences. A set is formed by grouping three or more cards of equal value but of different suits. Indian Rummy is also known as 13 card rummy and is usually played with 2-6 players.
